THE PEDAL PROMOTION

Be it a single or a double, your kick pedal holds that beat down for so much of your set, so keep it reliable with a service! 

Similar to the snare process, we begin with a disassembly of the pedal. Removing the springs, footboard, cam mechanisms & structural pieces off of the main base plate and placing them aside.
The base plate is then cleaned down, along with every other structural support of the pedal which are in turn, secured onto the plate.
We follow this with a rebuild of the cam mechanisms and an oiling of ball bearings & pivot points before being reassembled The Chain / Direct / Strap drive is then oiled / replaced on the cam mechanism, ensuring it is central!
The hinge & footboard are next. Surfaces polished and the hinge oiled, they're returned to the base, and the drive reattached. 
Finally the springs are attached the mechanism, and meticulously tensioned by hand.
